Meet Our Team: Daniel Mercer

Daniel Mercer graduated from the Wake Forest University School of Law, came back to New Jersey to pass the state bar examination, and went into banking. Over the years, he served small commercial and community banks in Pennsylvania and New Jersey as In-House Counsel, Compliance Officer, and Supervisor of Commercial Loan Documentation. In the process, he came to understand not only what the banking laws and regulations require, but how they can be given practical effect. More recently, he was a member of a bank consulting company, reviewing compliance evaluations and providing detailed written responses to client questions. Daniel has joined Sterling Compliance for the opportunity to continue doing good things in a good way with a team of like-minded professionals.
